【Unboxing and Review】Raise3D E2 3D Printer: Independent Dual Extruder Printing Tutorial!
The Raise3D E2 3D Printer features an Independent Dual Extruder (IDEX) system, where the two nozzles are completely separate and can move independently, without their movements interfering with each other. When "Duplication" or "Mirror" modes are selected, both nozzles operate simultaneously, achieving double the efficiency and productivity in the same amount of time! Watch the unboxing and review now:
I. Hardware Operation
1. Plug in the power / Turn on

2. Startup screen

3. Click "Left Extruder" > "Load"

4. 3D printing filament loading
Open the filament holder on the left side of the machine, align the 3D printing filament with the loading hole, hold down the metal ring with one hand, pull out the tube with the other hand, manually feed the filament through the tube, and then click "Start Loading".

5. Reinstall the tube
Confirm the gear is rotating, insert the material into the hotend. After the 3D printing filament starts feeding, reinstall the tube into the loading hole. Once material flows out, the touchscreen will show "Left extruder loading" confirmed.
II. Software Operation
Install "ideaMaker" (click here to download), the dedicated software for the Raise3D E2 3D Printer.

1. Select Model
Click on the "Printer" toolbar and select the equipment model being used.
2. Import File
Click "Import Model" to select the model to be printed.
3. Select Extruder
Confirm the extruder for hardware feeding.
4. Adjust Model
You can edit the model file by clicking on functions like "Move," "Rotate," "Scale," and "Cut" as needed.

5. Start Slicing
There are three default modes to choose from, and users can also adjust them according to their needs.
.High-Quality Mode: Layer thickness 0.1mm / Better print quality, longer print time.
.Standard Mode: Layer thickness 0.2mm / Medium print quality, medium print time.
.Fast Mode: Layer thickness 0.25mm / Average print quality, fastest print time.

6. Edit Supports
After clicking "Edit," enter edit mode to select the support structure, set the support structure to "All," confirm the support extruder, then save and click "Slice."
7. Start Printing
Save the 3D print file to a "USB," plug it into the device port, and click "Start Print."
