FM20 ABS-LIKE/PHOTOSENSITIVE RESIN
Product Features:
- Glossy, high precision
- Applicable to 405nm wavelength light source
- After printing, clean the model with alcohol and dry it, then use a UV curing box for secondary curing. (The model will be harder and drier after secondary curing)
- Shake well before use
- Can be operated at room temperature (25℃±5℃)
Application Examples:
Storage Instructions:
- Please store in a cool, well-ventilated indoor area, away from direct sunlight/light and heat sources.
- Under normal storage conditions, storage temperature should be 10°C/50°F - 32°C/90°F.
- Once opened, please use the resin as soon as possible.
- Do not store with oxidizing agents.
Precautions:
- To prevent polymerization and coking, it is recommended to transport at room temperature (temperature should not exceed 60°C), away from sunlight and heat sources.
- Wear protective gloves during operation to avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. If accidental contact occurs, rinse with soap and water (for eyes, rinse with plenty of water).
- Avoid using solvents to clean resin from hands or skin (solvents can cause resin to penetrate the skin).
- This product is highly photosensitive. After opening, strictly avoid light exposure during use. It is not recommended to recycle used liquid resin.
- Used liquid resin can be exposed to sunlight/UV light until fully cured, then disposed of as plastic waste.
- Avoid discharge into sewers or drains.
- Maintain good ventilation in the work area.
First Aid Measures:
First Aid Methods for Different Exposure Routes:
- Inhalation: Immediately move the patient to fresh air. If necessary, administer oxygen or artificial respiration, and seek medical attention as soon as possible. The rescue process should be rapid and clear.
-
Skin Contact:
- Immediately remove contaminated clothing, shoes, leather products, etc.
- Wipe off excess chemicals as soon as possible.
- Thoroughly wash with water and non-abrasive soap for 20 minutes or until the chemical is removed.
- Seek immediate medical attention.
-
Eye Contact:
- Immediately hold eyelids open and gently flush with flowing warm water for 5 minutes or until the chemical is removed.
- Seek immediate medical attention.
-
Ingestion:
- If the patient is about to lose consciousness or is unconscious, do not administer anything by mouth.
- Do not induce vomiting.
- If the patient vomits spontaneously, lean the patient's body forward to reduce the risk of aspiration and rinse their mouth with water.
- Seek immediate medical attention.
Secondary Curing:
- After printing, clean the model with alcohol and dry it, then use a UV curing box for secondary curing. (The model will be harder and drier after secondary curing).
- Please note: If cleaning is done by soaking, soaking for too long may cause cracks on the model surface.
Waste Disposal:
- Dispose according to relevant regulations.
- Store waste awaiting disposal according to storage conditions.
- Can be disposed of by specific incineration or sanitary landfill.
Fire Fighting Measures:
- Extinguishing agents: Carbon dioxide, dry chemical powder, foam.
- Special hazards that may be encountered during firefighting: High heat release during combustion. Before firefighting, stop leaks and remove nearby hazardous materials.
- Special firefighting procedures:
- Move containers away from the fire area under safe conditions.
- Water spray is ineffective for extinguishing, but can be used to cool containers exposed to fire.
- Firefighters should wear chemical protective clothing and positive-pressure self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA).
Cleaning Method:
Take the printed object, along with the build platform, to a bucket (or other container), and rinse or soak with clean water (for about 1-3 minutes). A paintbrush (or soft-bristled toothbrush) can be used to thoroughly clean any residual resin from the surface. After a certain amount of use, accumulate the water in the bucket (or other container), add 3-5% salt, and stir to dissolve. This will separate the resin from the water, causing it to settle at the bottom of the bucket. Pour off the upper layer of water (this water can be directly poured into the toilet or sink), and take the bottom layer of resin outdoors to cure under sunlight. Once cured, dispose of it as solid waste.
