Waste-reducing Multi-material Printing
The Vortek system enables true multi-material printing with up to six interchangeable induction-heated hotends, significantly reducing purging waste compared to single-nozzle systems.
The hotend changing mechanism eliminates the need for purging when changing filaments (for 7 types of filaments), thereby saving material and time.
Fast and Precise Induction Heating
The Vortek induction hotend rapidly heats the nozzle to printing temperature in about 8 seconds (PLA).
This quick response reduces color change time and further minimizes waste. Integrated protection against overheating, overpressure, short circuits, and open circuits ensures reliable continuous multi-material printing.

Reliable Non-Contact Connection
The Vortek system uses a non-contact high-frequency power and signal interface, avoiding the oxidation and aging issues of traditional metal contacts, providing a stable and long-lasting connection for precise temperature control and synchronized hotend operation.

Heatsink Overheating Monitoring
Dual temperature sensors continuously monitor the nozzle and heatsink temperatures. If the heatsink temperature exceeds a safe value, the system automatically enhances cooling to prevent heat creep and reduce the risk of clogging.
Smart Multi-Hotend Management
Each Vortek hotend locally stores filament information, ensuring correct material matching and preventing loading errors.
When more than seven types of filament are used, the system intelligently optimizes hotend mapping, further reducing waste and improving overall printing efficiency.
