Dual Nozzle System|Stop struggling with supports – peel them away effortlessly.
The main nozzle handles printing parts, while the auxiliary nozzle takes care of support structures.
The X2D delegates all tedious support work to the auxiliary nozzle, using its own material.
It provides complete support for steep overhangs, fabric folds, and internal channels, then peels away easily.
Add more color, more detail, and more fun.
Fuse PLA and TPU in one model. Bags, handles, and bumpers created can be used directly after removal from the print bed.
Instant dual-nozzle switching. Enjoy faster color changes, smoother transitions, and less waste.
Finer. Sharper. True to design.
Tap, switch, done.
Unlike traditional motor-driven systems, the X2D integrates gears and trigger mechanisms into the tool head. The nozzle change lever taps the trigger arm, driving internal gears to switch nozzles. This achieves effortless changes without adding extra weight.
A lighter tool head means less inertia and vibration. Surfaces remain flawless, even at full speed – right to the top.
Rapid cooling. Before gravity takes hold.
Two intakes are better than one. Newly extruded filament is soft, but the X2D printer's dual intakes on both sides instantly blow cold air into the print chamber. This continuous air exchange stabilizes each layer, especially for low-temperature filaments like PLA.
Not just hot enough, but uniformly hot.
The X2D features a 300°C nozzle and a 65°C actively heated chamber, sufficient for most engineering filaments. The actively heated chamber conducts heat uniformly, ensuring strong adhesion between layers.
Calibration adjusts for wear and material changes.
Bambu Lab's Flow Dynamics Calibration creates a nonlinear model that evolves over time, detecting and compensating for the effects of nozzle wear or damp filament.
PMSM Servo System: Smoother surfaces start inside the extruder.
Bambu Lab's exclusive PMSM servo system samples at 20 kHz, dynamically adjusting torque to eliminate tiny fluctuations before they reach the surface.
Smooth and delicate surfaces.
Compensation delivers sharp edges and clear details.
AI camera monitors for you at all times.
Before printing, the AI live preview camera and toolhead camera scan the bed; during the process, they monitor for issues like entanglement and nozzle clogs.
Equipped with comprehensive sensors covering every critical stage.
The entire system consists of 31 sensors, monitoring the feed path, printing process, thermal environment, and machine safety in real time.
Fresh air, always.
Three-stage filtration system: G3 pre-filter, H12 HEPA filter, and activated carbon layer effectively reduce odors and particulate matter.
Suitable for the living room.
Tool-free nozzle changes.
Quiet enough for night printing.
View every detail remotely.
A million switches, still smooth.
A 3D printer that updates automatically, just like a smartphone.
Product Variation Notice
Depending on the batch, the nozzle switching area may or may not include a silicone wiper. Performance remains identical through software.
FAQ What are the main differences between X2D and X1C?
The X2D is a new chapter for the X1C. It adds a dual printhead system supporting up to 25 colors; an actively heated chamber (up to 65°C) for processing engineering filaments; a servo extruder with real-time flow sensing and filament entanglement detection; extended AI monitoring capabilities with live view and toolhead cameras; and vision-encoder-based motion calibration. The X2D takes all the advantages of the X1C and improves upon them even further.
For more product specifications, please refer to this page.
What are the maximum print speed and acceleration of the X2D?When printing with the main nozzle, the maximum travel speed is 1000 mm/s, and the maximum acceleration is 20,000 mm/s².
Are the hotends on the left and right sides identical?Yes, the left and right hotends are structurally and component-wise identical and can be interchanged between the left and right positions.
What is the function of the chamber exhaust fan on the X2D's rear panel? It actively draws air from within the print chamber. In cooling mode (for PLA and other low-temperature filaments), it works with the adaptive airflow system to dissipate heat and exhaust fumes. After printing high-temperature filaments, enable the "Purge Air at Print End" function to clear residual fumes.
How many AMS units can the X2D connect to?Single Hotend: Supports up to 4 AMS 2 Pro units and 8 AMS HT units (a total of 12 units, 24 slots).
Dual Hotend: When used with the maximum AMS configuration, it enables printing with up to 25 colors.
Does the X2D support high-flow nozzles?Yes. High-flow hotends significantly increase print speed while maintaining print quality, reducing print time by up to 30% compared to standard nozzles.
