One Product, Two Uses (Textured & Smooth)
Enjoy the benefits of two different textures in one build plate, with a Textured PEI Surface on one side and a Smooth PEI Surface on the other. This plate features a 0.5mm magnetic stainless steel sheet to enhance magnetic adhesion, helping to prevent warping and ensure optimal print quality during 3D printing.

Smooth PEI Surface:

High Z-axis Accuracy Printing
The smooth PEI surface helps improve Z-axis accuracy during the printing process, ensuring accurate and consistent vertical dimensions.

Smooth and Matte Surface Finish
Using a specially selected matte PEI sheet gives the bottom surface of printed objects a smooth, matte texture, enhancing their overall appearance.

Textured PEI Surface :

Excellent First Layer Adhesion and Enhanced Durability
The textured PEI surface enhances durability and improves adhesion between the print and the print plate without the need for adhesives.
*In some cases, very specific filaments may require glue.

Self-releasing when cooled
The textured PEI surface can withstand repeated heating and cooling cycles of the printer's hotbed. When the hotbed temperature reaches room temperature, the print can be easily removed.

• Dust and grease deposits on the build plate can reduce adhesion. It is recommended to regularly clean the surface with detergent and water to maintain optimal adhesion.
• Increasing the hotbed temperature can enhance adhesion. Users need to adjust the hotbed temperature according to their specific requirements to achieve the most suitable adhesion level.
• Carefully sanding the textured PEI surface with fine sandpaper (600 grit recommended) can help restore adhesion.
• If bubbles appear at the bottom of the smooth PEI build plate, heating it on a hotbed at no less than 80 degrees for several hours can help eliminate the bubbles.
• Do not use acetone to clean the Bambu Dual-Sided Textured PEI Plate, as this will damage the PEI surface.
• Bambu Lab recommends using only official Bambu Lab glue on Bambu Lab build plates. Bambu Lab assumes no responsibility for any damage to the plate caused by using third-party glues on the build plate.
• Always wait a few minutes for the plate to cool down before removing the printed model for easy removal of the print. This prevents damage to the plate and ensures a longer product lifespan.
• The Bambu Dual-Sided Textured PEI Plate is considered a consumable item and will degrade over time. The warranty only covers manufacturing defects and does not cover cosmetic damage such as scratches, dents, or cracks. Only plates with defects upon arrival are covered under warranty.

Please note that other slicer settings may need to be adjusted based on the print model and filament requirements.

Step 1: Align the print plate with the fixed points of the platform, with the plate's name facing you.
