The METHOD Carbon Fiber 3D printer is the latest product on the METHOD platform, utilizing carbon fiber reinforced nylon optimized for high strength and heat resistance. The METHOD X Carbon Fiber version comes pre-configured with the new Composite Extruder (1C), which is optimized to handle abrasive materials and can also be used to upgrade METHOD and METHOD X 3D printers. The METHOD Carbon Fiber 3D printer features stronger metal drive gears, metal filament entryways, and interchangeable hardened steel nozzles, allowing it to 3D print MakerBot Nylon Carbon Fiber materials and all third-party materials supported by the METHOD platform.
