Snapmaker J1s IDEX Independent Dual Extruder 3D Printer
3DMart Warranty Product Repair Application Process and Related Regulations
The Snapmaker J1s's new Independent Dual Extrusion (IDEX) technology creates wonders with an astonishingly wide range of materials, and feel the power of industrial-grade transmission precision. Industrial-grade transmission precision and effortless calibration to bring your creations to life! Compared to single-extruder printers that print multiple materials, IDEX dual extruders require less time to switch filaments, reducing unnecessary waste. Additionally, IDEX dual-extruder printers prevent cross-contamination.
Fast Forward
Maximum speed 350 mm/s, maximum acceleration 10,000 mm/s²
Advanced Control for Faster Printing
.Vibration Compensation
The J1 offers ultra-fast printing speeds of 350mm/s while ensuring high-resolution prints. Vibration compensation technology optimizes and reduces vibrations caused by high-speed movement, minimizing amplitude to improve print quality. With a maximum acceleration of 10,000 mm/s², efficiently create detailed small models.
Breakaway and Soluble Supports
Building and removing supports can sometimes seem like rocket science, requiring time for research and being difficult to disassemble. The Snapmaker J1 optimizes the entire design with stable supports, clean interfaces, effortless removal, and minimal post-processing needed to maintain high precision. The printed models will be exactly as you imagined, no more, no less!
Dual Material Printing
During printing, you can fully utilize the properties of two filaments, combining the strength of nylon with the flexibility of TPU to create more functional objects. You can also combine models that were originally multiple objects into one print. Since no assembly is required, the objects achieve stronger interconnectivity and are less prone to damage.
Copy and Mirror Mode
Halve the print waiting time and double productivity. IDEX is the only extrusion system with two independent dual extruders that move independently on the X-axis, allowing for two print samples to be run simultaneously.
Backup Mode
In Backup Mode, when one nozzle is printing, the other is on standby. If the printing nozzle fails, the standby nozzle will seamlessly take over the print, still resulting in a perfect finished product! No valuable time is wasted.

The main differences between J1 and J1s in backup mode are as follows:
1. The J1s is equipped with an additional printing cooling fan, so you don't need to remove the top panel to print PLA.
2. In the J1s package, Snapmaker replaced the white PLA with Breakaway Support PLA, allowing you to try out support printing right away.
3. Snapmaker also pre-installed the door and side panels for you, making it easier to get started immediately.
4. If you plan to purchase the J1 model and have additional printing cooling needs, you can choose the J1 plus upgrade kit or the J1s.
