Surface Finish

Excellent first layer adhesion and enhanced durability
After optimizing the manufacturing process of the Bambu Textured PEI Plate, its durability has been enhanced.
In addition, the adhesion between the print and the plate has been significantly improved, eliminating the need for adhesives.
*In some cases, for very specific materials, glue may still be required.

Automatic release after cooling
PEI is an excellent material for 3D printing applications because of its ability to withstand repeated heating and cooling cycles of the printer's hotbed.
When the hotbed's temperature reaches room temperature, prints will easily detach. It is recommended to wait until it reaches 35℃ or lower.
If the print is still adhering to the plate, simply bend the steel plate, and the model will easily fall into your hands.

Compatibility with a variety of materials
PEI offers excellent compatibility, allowing it to print not only common materials like PLA, TPU, and PETG,
but also materials requiring high temperatures, such as ABS and Nylon.

Reliable magnetic adhesion prevents warping
The Bambu Textured PEI Plate uses a 0.5mm thick stainless steel plate, enhancing magnetic adhesion.
This helps prevent warping and ensures optimal print quality during the 3D printing process, reducing the possibility of the first layer detaching due to deformation.
It is also particularly helpful when printing larger models, especially for materials prone to warping, such as ABS, PC, and Nylon.

Notes

Automatic flow rate calibration on the Textured PEI Plate works in most cases (OTA version 01.06.01.00 or higher), but is less reliable than on other plates.

Please regularly clean the surface with detergent and water to remove any dust or grease residue. If ineffective, alcohol can be used to clean the surface.

Do not use acetone to clean the Textured PEI, as it will damage the PEI surface.

Always wait a few minutes after printing to allow the plate to cool down before removing prints. This prevents damage to the plate and ensures the product's long lifespan.

The Textured PEI Plate is considered a consumable and will degrade over time. The warranty only covers manufacturing defects and does not include cosmetic damage such as scratches, dents, or cracks. Only plates that are defective upon arrival are covered by the warranty.
