AESUB transparent is a new scanning spray that temporarily covers smooth surfaces with a transparent film, allowing optical scanners to capture not only the surface contour but also the color of the scanned object simultaneously. Traditional scanning sprays create a white coating, preventing the capture of the object's original color. AESUB transparent contains no pigments and no harmful titanium dioxide. The spray produces a coating approximately 15 to 20 microns thick, which sublimates after about 4 hours, requiring no cleaning. Similar to other sublimating AESUB scanning sprays, AESUB transparent can be applied directly to the scan points, making it particularly suitable for reverse engineering complex parts with multiple colors, significantly simplifying and accelerating the scanning process. AESUB dot reference points also adhere to the transparent matte layer and can be easily removed after scanning.
