Ultimaker Breakaway is a support material designed for dual extrusion 3D printing. Its breakaway supports can be quickly removed without additional post-processing, helping to achieve high-quality 3D printed results.

To enhance the 3D printing experience, Breakaway offers excellent adhesion with materials such as ABS, Nylon, PLA, CPE, and CPE+.

Removing Breakaway Supports Cutting breakaway support material with pliers

Step One: Remove: First, remove most of the internal support structures. Use flush cutters to loosen the supports around the corners of the model.

Step Two: Pull: Find a loose edge and use pliers to break apart internal sections, pulling the breakaway support away from the model.

Step Three: Peel: Peel off any remaining supports from the model, using pliers or tweezers to remove the last remnants.
