Usage Tips

1. Machine performance characteristics inevitably change over time, with use, and due to environmental factors.

These changes mainly come from the following factors:

  • Fluctuations in ambient temperature
  • Micro-deformations of the structure due to operational vibrations or movements
  • Stress relaxation of casing materials

For applications requiring high precision, it is recommended to perform calibration every two weeks to ensure continuous measurement accuracy.

2. The Bambu Lab Vision Encoder is only used for motion accuracy calibration and should not be used as a print bed.

After calibration is complete, please remove and store the Vision Encoder properly.

3. Before calibrating with the Bambu Lab Vision Encoder, please confirm the following:

  • Ensure the tool head camera is functioning correctly and there are no HMS errors (e.g., dirty lens).
  • Clear all foreign objects from the heatbed.
  • Ensure the surface of the Vision Encoder is clean and all grid patterns are clearly visible.
  • Before calibration, confirm that the heatbed is at room temperature to avoid errors caused by thermal expansion.
