FAQ
Is the AP2 Max compatible with laser cutters and welders from other brands?
Yes, if your machine's smoke extraction demand is 700 m³/h or less, and the exhaust port diameter is between 60-110 mm or 200-250 mm, then it is compatible. However, smart features will not be available.
Is the AP2 compatible with laser equipment from other brands?
The AP2 is designed for machines with smoke extraction volumes of 150 m³/h or less. If your machine's smoke extraction volume is within this range, it should be compatible with the AP2. However, you will need to prepare an exhaust port adapter yourself.
This product supports a 3-inch exhaust pipe. It is compatible with laser printers, hybrid 3D printers with laser modules, and DTF 3D printers, as long as their exhaust pipe dimensions meet this requirement.
Why is xTool P3 not compatible with AP2?
The AP2 is designed for machines with smoke extraction volumes of 150 m³/h or less, but the P3 has a smoke extraction volume of 238 m³/h. The AP2's airflow cannot meet this demand. Therefore, if the P3 is connected to the AP2 for cutting, a large amount of smoke and odor will still be generated.
Can the vent be directly led into the room?
Yes, the exhaust gas can be directly discharged into the room because our purified exhaust gas meets the air quality requirements for direct indoor discharge.
How often should the cyclone separator be cleaned?
It is recommended to clean it every 6 months, but users can adjust based on actual usage.
